Cirerie de Cascogne - Scented Candle - Patchouli, Sauternes & Figue Sêche

Scented Candles and Diffusers from Gascony, one of my favourite corners of France.

Not only does the collection hail from a region of great beauty and historic interest, but the fragrances are actually based on the wine industry  -   'The Return From The Vines'.

Fragrances are inspired by the seasons, and we have included scents from Spring/Summer as well as Winter, for it is lovely to indulge in something fresh and summery, especially when it is chilly, as these scents are often more uplifting.

Patchouli - Sauternes - Fig Sèche

This scent was specifically created for the winter months and conjures a Gascon sitting room on a Sunday. The distant Pyrénées are dusted with snow and the patchouli and dried figs immediately bring fireside warmth. The honeyed, almond nutty, sweetness of the Sauternes is unmistakable. It does make me long for a glass!

Hand poured vegetable wax candle - Burns for approximately 40 hours.
