Cirerie de Cascogne - Scented Candle - Armagnac, Safran & Cuir

Scented Candles and Diffusers from Gascony, one of my favourite corners of France.

Not only does the collection hail from a region of great beauty and historic interest, but the fragrances are actually based on the wine industry  -   'The Return From The Vines'.

Fragrances are inspired by the seasons, and we have included scents from Spring/Summer as well as Winter, for it is lovely to indulge in something fresh and summery, especially when it is chilly, as these scents are often more uplifting.

Armagnac-Saffron-Cuir

My goodness this is divine! I remember the scent of Armagnac from when I was a guest at the Chateau of the Frapin/Cointreau family and was treated to a sip of this amber nectar from a barrel produced in 1880! The scent is warm and honeyed, spiced and very much like being embraced! The use of saffron and leather transports us the the heart of the wine cellar and the golden notes of infused woods. There is a serenity and inspiration here too with a touch of the monastery! I am obsessed with this scent and have both the diffuser and the candle at home so that I can indulge at will!

Hand poured vegetable wax candle - Burns for approximately 40 hours.
