A timeless tribute to the glamorous golden age of the French Riviera, Cap d’Antibes celebrates the exclusive and luxurious holiday destination beloved of celebrities and aristocracy alike in the early part of the 20th Century. Antibes played host to a vast array of European elite, who would journey to the village of Antibes to enjoy a summer of sailing on their elegant yachts, eating at the most sumptuous dining destinations, and watching the sun set with a glass of champagne from the grand balcony of the Eden Roc hotel. The embodiment of old world style, Cap d’Antibes opens with a strikingly fresh accord of mint set against the harmonious combination of woody green violet leaf and warm birch wood. A heart of lightly spiced cinnamon and a note of dark green moss lends an intriguing and rich character to the scent, before a smoky blend of incense, cedar, and inviting vanilla finishes the scent with aplomb.

Fragrance House

One of the most iconic scents of the 20th Century, Eight & Bob was created by French aristocrat Albert Fouquet alongside his butler, Philippe, and quickly found favour within the ranks of Hollywood’s glitterati. A passionate lover of fragrance, the scents in the Eight & Bob collection were deeply personal to Fouquet, inspired by his profound affinity for certain places and people. Originally, Fouquet created what would come to be known as 'Eight & Bob' for himself and his close acquaintances, until by chance he happened to cross paths with a young John F. Kennedy, holidaying in the French Riviera. Bequeathing the future president a bottle of this hitherto secret concoction, the Kennedy boy was so taken with the scent that upon his return to America he wrote to Fouquet requesting a further eight bottles, “and if production allows, another one for Bob”.

After the tragic death of Albert Fouquet in a car accident, his butler Philippe had to halt production of the fragrances thanks to the onset of the Second World War, but not before he sent a final shipment to America, with the fragrances carefully concealed inside hand cut books. The first fragrance was revived from Philippe’s original hand written notes, and presented in packaging that pays tribute to that famous final shipment. Since then the collection has gone from strength to strength compounding a reputation for elegant, sophisticated, international glamour !
