have been searching for a new collection to add to our home fragrance offer for months and it is surprising, given that this is an over-subscribed milieu, just how disappointing most brands are. Either the packaging is generic or the fragrances dull and weak so I was delighted to discover Wax & Wick, a new British with a clever twist. The first thing to capture my attention is that the glass flacons are made from up cycled wine bottles sourced in the UK (in either green or clear glass), the wax is 100% soy so no nasties or palm oil and they are made locally so the carbon footprint is minimal. The scents are clever with familiar scents in unique combinations - I adore the Grapefruit & Sage, Lavander & Bay and Almond & Green Tea. Lastly and by no means least is that I expected them to be priced at around £35 however the collection starts at £18, so this is a beautiful, vegan-friendly, ecologically responsible purchase for under £20. Genius!
