I own this vase and it is one of the best in terms of looks and practicality.
Firstly it is large, so impactful as a centrepiece - mine is full of lilies on the dining table as I type. The shape is elegant - tall, sculpted moderism - so a little bit 1930's a little Mid-Century etc.
You don't need too many blooms to fill it as the aperture comes in a little at the top - I have 4 stems of lilies on my dining table at the moment and it looks great.
The there is the colour. The dark amber glows in electric or sunlight, yet doesn't compete with the colour of the blooms. It looks sensational with sunflowers in the summer months and I use it for anything with a tall stem, from gladioli and roses, to lilies and chrysanthemums. This will also hold more architectural arrangements of twigs and berries.
