The thing about the scent of a Gardenia is that it can be overpowering and in the warmer weather when smell travels father, quicker, this can be a little..... de trop.

And so the challenge was to take a classic and freshen it up. Ylang ylang at the top, a little, light peony, a soupçon of almondy heliotrope and the stroke of genius here is a hit of violet that adds that certain je ne sais quoi!
