A great realisation of one of my favourite blooms. The Gardénia is exquisitely beautiful, both visually and in its perfume. The waxy flowers were once popular as buttonholes for gentlemen( think Oscar Wilde) and have adorned some extremely glamorous women including Lady Day - Billy Holiday.

Here, the olfactory approach is a natural once, perhaps reducing a little of the Gardenia's sweetness with a textured, rose from Provence. The flower's pure, luminous beauty is always a joy and I love using this candle throughout the year.
