Has Winnie left this room never to return, or are we maintaining it for her while she travels or lives abroad?

Of course Winnie never existed. Not outside our imagination anyway, but if she had she would have been warm and generous and full of life and love. We would have been very fond of her. Everyone should have a Winnie. We don't know why but we imagine that her room is on the upper floor and flooded with light. A green base of galbanum, cucumber and stemone sit beneath orris, honeysuckle geranium and jasmine. It is early summer when the scents are still quite fresh and exuberant as Winnie's room definitely opens onto a verdant garden and these intoxicating notes are born through the windows on soft summer breezes.
