This glass teapot with intrinsic filter is almost a negative of itself, its slightly surreal delicacy only revealed once it contains liquid tea. There is something decidedly Japanese about the design, so much so that I was inspired to add the lovely lotus tea-bowls to my wish list. These are glorious to drink from and there is a little bit of theatre in this duo. Apparently Lockdown has resulted in the return of the English tradition of 'High Tea’ (probably all that baking!) and I cannot think of anything more beautiful to serve or drink from.
