'Avant L'Orage' - Heaven in a bottle! This is a slightly sweet, woody floral with sambac jasmine balanced with benzoin and a fiercely creamy tonka/vanilla base that includes a rich, warm, fizzy sandalwood. This one wraps you up in pleasure.

I had been alerted to the talent at 'Maison Matine' last year and so it was kismet when my friend Anita arrived to unveil the EDP collection a few weeks ago.  This is a young, fresh and hugely innovative range of perfumes that seduced me instantly with six, highly idiosynchratic scents.

This brand is a breath of fresh air and has acheived that rare thing - something completely unique and inventive in a crowded market. I have enjoyed the experience of every one immensley and I congratulate the team on a tremendous collection!
