Way back in February, the Lovely Lene and I were visiting the Design Fair in Frankfurt. I adore travelling with TLL as she always makes it such a great adventure. We each book restaurants in advance in a competitive bid to outdo the other in terms of gourmand experience and we have had some truly epic dinners. We also have a very similar eye and so agree on almost every product that we find. One of my favourites in Germany was our lovely faux fur supplier. The family produce a range of fabrics that look so like the real thing that I was horrified when I saw a stand that I believed to be covered with animal pelts and so incredibly relieved to learn that I had been fooled by the artisans that dye each fibre so that it truly resembles hair. We have just received our final (pre-Brexit) delivery and the pieces are, as ever, utterly stunning. Black Panther, Silver Seal and Fox Collar/Scarves (these wrap around the neck and tuck into a loop so they sit like a collar), all backed with cashmere. These are incredibly glamorous, like something Norma Shearer would have been worn during Hollywood's Golden Age in the 1930's and 40's - 'what becomes a legend most'!
