The Tuscan inspired 'Medullary-Ray' is as fascinating as its moniker, which I presume alludes to the brainstem and flashes of light. It certainly makes the synapses twitch with its sunshine notes of hay, fig-leaf and olive underscored with creamy orris and a naughty note of castoreum. Are you getting the drift? These are works of art; very complex, subtle, sophisticated and elysian in nature.
Impression: Fig-leaf, Cardamom, Olive, Juniper, Frankincense

Mr Mccall belongs to this school of thought. He is, by fragrance standards, an enfant terrible and his work for Jorum Studio is wildly unfettered, conjuring a plethora of naturalistic landscapes, both epic and distilled - he is, for me, an olfactory Turner with a twist!
