This is the most fantastic storage bowl - a magnificent beast that has been designed to store fruit and vegetables in a stylish manner! I picked this, initially, because I think it beautiful, however it is also extremely practical. The ceramic bowl (I have them in chalk or red) has a lower level to house vegetables (which store best in the dark) topped by a cork shelf for fruit - cork is brilliant for fruit as it absorbs moisture that will make fruit rot, so your plums and apples will last a lot longer! This is also very decorative and mine not only looks gorgeous but encourages me to pick up a piece of fruit every day.
