I discovered a wonderfully talented bag-designer based in London. The 'classic' collection reminds me of an ancient BOAC bag that my parents kept the family photographs in, so the styling has a slightly 1960's retro feel that appeals to me. The block colours are framed with a pale tape binding that makes them pop and lends the range a smart and structured appearance. Styles are practical and multi-pocketed to suit contemporary lifestyles with a Shopper, Backpack, Mini-Backpack and the fantastic Messenger Pannier, which will convert from a regular work-bag to one that fits on a bicycle and also comes with a padded laptop bag - the perfect hybrid. I have also invested in an eco-selection of roll-top backpacks made from recycled water bottles and these too will attach to a bicycle if you own one or just behave like an excellent, practical and voluminous backpack if not.
The main fabric is made from sustainable materials - recycled water bottles which are woven into a strong post-consumer recycled polyester. The polyester is layered with a waterproof coating. You will also be able to stay visible and safe with the reflective details on the side pockets and backpack straps. Padded mesh faced shoulder straps make it very comfortable to carry.
