The fire that ripped through the premises of the Curling Bros. barbershop in 1891 not only succeeded in ravaging the building, but the array of fragrant shaving tonics that adorned the walls were charred beyond recognition. Phials of oil scented with spearmint, lime, and lavender were scorched, and the discovery of a burned but half-full bottle inspired the creation of this scent thanks to its compelling and unique aroma imparted by the fire. Spicy, herbal, and slightly singed, Burning Barbershop is an excellent and fascinating fragrance.
