A wonderfully spiced floral fragrance, Rima XI takes its name and inspiration from Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer’s poem of the same name. A spicy, passionate opening of cardamom and sweet saffron echoes the sentiment of Béecquer’s verse, a paean to unrequited love. Spectral and otherworldly, Rima XI builds on this opening with the complex yet compelling note of jasmine sambac, contrasted against warm, comforting nutmeg and enticing cinnamon notes. A base of soft amber and musk is complemented perfectly by the robust woody accords of Virginian cedar and Australian sandalwood that gives the scent a smooth and nuanced dry down that is ideal for evening wear.
