I am a big fan of 'Bon Parfumeur' from Paris. They make fragrances that remind me of a good white shirt or cashmere sweater. Not too showy, eminently wearable, adaptable and you can take them anywhere. There is a new scent in town, the delicious '802' which arrived this week. The fresh, green opening is reminiscent of dew or morning rain or the smell of a snapped tulip stem. The aquatic notes are joined by peonies, lotus and bamboo and it blossoms into something quite creamy. I love this as it will work at the office or for reading the Sunday papers - it is effortless.
