'Sand' refers to Sandalwood. I have been wearing this fragrance for weeks - exclusively - as I simply cannot get enough of it. A rich, warm, luxurious, Australian Cedarwood, blended with some unexpected notes like cardamom and banana, sitting on a bed of my favourite resins, benzoin and labdanum. It is a lively scent. The sandalwood itself comes from Dutjahn, a sandalwood producer made up of industry experts and indigenous peoples. Winner of the UN Equator Prize, they use standing, dead wood, so no trees are harmed in production!
