Rasoline shaving cream dates back to the 1930's when it was first introduced by French fragrance house, Molinard. At the time it was ground breaking as it was the first shaving which did not have to be applied by brush. Up until then all shaving soaps would have been lathered up in a shaving mug or bowl with water and a brush. It was an immediate success and has long been the shaving soap of choice of gentlemen's barbers on the continent.
Rasoline's primary active ingredient is natural almond oil which not only gives the cream its unique fragrance it is absolutely wonderful for the skin. Especially skin which is regularly and routinely taken to task by a sharp unforgiving blade!
Rasoline is easy to apply and does not foam, making shaving easier particularly around the tricky bits. It's based on sweet almond oil, which gives it a discreet fragrance. It's easy to apply and doesn't foam up.
