The advantages of this insulated, double walled coffee plunger are many more than two-fold!
Coffee when it is reheated releases acids rendering it bitter, some people often complain of tummy trouble after drinking reheated coffee. There have even been suggestions that there might be even more sinister side effects from drinking reheated coffee although there appear to have been no conclusive studies to substantiate this information.
Either way we would not recommend it and with this double walled cafetiére your coffee will still warm up to an hour after it was brewed so there is no need.
Being insulated it means if you accidentally put it on a wooden surface it will not mark – although the pot will become warm after a while so try to avoid doing this.
The pot will never be scalding hot like a glass cafetiére and of course there is no glass to break.
Moreover it is the most elegant coffee pot we have ever seen.
